Syntech Poliurea Top Coating A protective, pigmented, two-component formulation based on aliphatic polyurethane resins, ideal as a protective and aesthetic coating on waterproofing with SYNTECH POLIUREA SPRAY. Characterised by high levels of elasticity and elevated protection, even in aggressive atmospheres. Available on request in shades from the RAL colour range. Surface coating pigmented for colouring polyurethane claddings, and their protection from UV rays (which in the absence of the top coating would alter the colour over time). After suitable priming with SYNTECH POLYUREA PRIMER, it can also be applied as a simple coloured aliphatic protective coating. In any case, carefully clean and degrease the surfaces, removing any kind of dirt, paint residues or incoherent parts. The humidity of the support must be <= 3%. Evaluate the most convenient type of mechanical preparation (shot peening, sandblasting, hydro-washing, etc.). The surfaces must also be free from discontinuity, and possibly leveled and regularized with products from the FLOOR line or the REPAR line. In case of presence (even suspected) of humidity deriving from capillary rising from the substrate, it is recommended to apply in advance the epoxy resin for "wet substrates" Syntech Pavidamp. Tiled floors, or floors covered with pre-existing resin, must be subjected to mechanical roughening carried out with shot blasting, milling, bush hammering, etc., until the total elimination of the waterproof crust and the opacification of the surfaces. Remove dust after abrasion. It is recommended to use Primer from the SYNTECH POLIUREA PRIMER range. On particularly absorbent substrates, to avoid the formation of craters / blowholes on the surface of the freshly sprayed product, it is recommended to use primers from the SYNTECH POLIUREA PRIMER range, always contacting the Azichem technical staff for clarification on the most suitable type to use. Apply several layers of primer until the porosity is saturated and providing a light dusting with clean and dry quartz sand (0.4-0.7 mm). Never dust off the primer. Provide suitable elastic sealing systems to cover joints, fittings, cracks or fissures subject to significant movements. Pour component B with component A into a single container, taking care to remove all the material from the packaging. Mix thoroughly with a mixer at low revs, until a lump-free mixture is obtained. Apply with a roller or brush on the surfaces of SYNTECH POLYUREA SPRAY, within 24-48 hours of spreading the latter. A thorough sanding of the supports is recommended for any repairs and/or finishes. Syntech HAG Acryl Syntech HAG Acryl is a four-component resin that reacts to form an elastic and durable gel. The properties of Syntech HAG Acryl are: • Good general chemical resistance. • Does not contain acrylamide, methacrylamide, formaldehyde or solvents. • Not inflammable. • Excellent adhesion on mineral building materials such as concrete, cement and bricks. • The reaction speed can be adjusted from a few seconds to several minutes. • When the injected cracks dry out due to temperature or groundwater level fluctuations the gel does not crack easily. • The hardened gel has excellent durability in wet-dry cycles. Syntech HAG Acryl components are supplied ready to use. Create 2 mixes in separate plastic buckets. Prepare only the quantity to be used each time. Solution 1: Syntech HAG Acryl component A (25 kg resin) mixed with Syntech HAG Acryl component B (2.5 kg catalyst). Solution 2: Syntech HAG Acryl component C (2 packs of 0.625 kg) mixed with clean tap water. Attention: The amount of water must be equal in volume to solution 1. When mixing resin, always use a wooden or stainless steel spatula. The reaction time depends on the temperature of the material, the structure of the building and the possible amount of water present. Higher temperature will speed up the reaction time and lower temperature will slow it down. It is advisable to carry out an on-site test, before injection, to observe and define the reaction time. To change the reaction time, only adjust the amount of Syntech HAG Acryl component C. The amount of the other components remains the same. Use a two-component stainless steel pump (manual, electric or pneumatic). Check that the pump and equipment are clean and that there is no residue from previous injection work. The two mixtures are fed into the pump separately, but are mixed homogeneously at a volumetric ratio of 1:1 in the pump's mixing head, before being injected through the pump nozzle. Check the quality of the concrete, as injection involves pressure. Sealing and waterproofing of cracks and cavities in walls, floors, concrete constructions, underground structures, etc. It can be used in constructions that are not permanently in contact with water (fluctuating groundwater level). Injection of very fine cracks. Determine the type and size of packers based on your pump and injection type. If reinforcing steel is present, try to locate it and plan the drilling pattern so that the reinforcement is not drilled. Drill holes at an angle of approximately 45° or less and in the direction of the crack. Make sure the hole goes through the crack. The distance of the drilled holes depends on the width of the crack. Place the packer in the hole. Prepare the pump to start the injection. The injection pressure varies depending on the structure and size of the crack. Start the injection at the lowest point of the crack. Continue injecting until resin flows out of adjacent packer(s). This is necessary to achieve uniform distribution of the material. Stop pumping, unplug and move on to the next packer. Continue the procedure until the crack is completely filled. After the material has cured, the packers can be removed. Holes drilled can be covered with Repar Tix Speedy HP quick-setting mortar. Clean and rinse the pump equipment with water whenever there is a stoppage longer than 15 minutes and, after completing the injection, rinse with a sufficient amount of water. Make sure the pump is clean and stop only when clean water comes out of the pump. The consumption of the product depends on the size of the empty volume to be filled. The tensile strength must not be less than 1.5 N/mm². The application of Protech WAC-RC on new or particularly absorbent cementitious substrates must always be preceded by the application of a coat of Protech fix AC water-based anchoring primer. Wait 3-4 hours before applying the finish. Grout 2 HP Grout 2 HP is a pourable, fiber-reinforced mortar, used for structural restoration operations, anchoring of steel bars and strands, reinforced micropiles, tie rods, and riveting. The formulation contains very fine high-strength cements, micro-silicas with pozzolanic activity, aggregates in a rational granulometric curve (0.1 ÷ 1.8 mm), and special antisegregative additives. The product is mixed with 11% - 12% of water, requiring vigorous and prolonged mechanical mixing. The special formulation of Grout 2 HP provides the castings with mechanical strength, fracture energy, exceptional durability, and very high chemical-physical resistance. Grout 2 HP has a workability time of about 60-90 minutes, after which the setting process is triggered, followed by progressive hardening. The plastic and hygrometric shrinkage is extremely low thanks to the presence of Readymesh PM-060 multifilament synthetic fibers, which provide volumetric stability. The performances that make Grout 2 HP unique are: • very high compressive mechanical strengths (> 90 MPa at 28 days), • very high mechanical resistance to bending-traction (> 12 MPa after 28 days), • excellent durability and resistance to chemical attacks. Grout 2 HP is used for structural restoration operations, anchoring of steel bars and strands, reinforced micropiles, tie rods, and riveting. It is particularly suitable for operations where high mechanical performance is required after short curing (compressive strength at 3 days > 60 MPa) and in operations carried out in severe exposure environments (XC - XS - XF), characterized by aggression from sulphates, chlorides, and nitrates. The material can also be used for repairs in anchoring areas subject to high stresses. The application surfaces must be clean, free of dirt, crumbly and incoherent parts, dust, etc., and suitably saturated with water until reaching the condition of "saturated with dry surface". Adequate roughening of the surfaces by scarifying, sandblasting, etc. is always necessary to obtain the maximum adhesion values to the substrate. The optimal values are obtained with high pressure hydro-scarification. Bare the irons undergoing disruptive oxidation or deeply oxidized, removing the rust of the exposed irons (by sandblasting or abrasive brushes). It is strongly recommended, for optimal performance of site operations, to use a vertical axis mixer with planetary movement or a double horizontal helicoid. The powder is mixed with drinking water to the extent of 11% - 12%, referring to the total weight of the mortar (about 2.75 liters per 25 kg bag) until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Mixing time: about 4 minutes with a high efficiency mixer. The anchoring can be filled with a single screw pump, for mortars. Pumping must be carried out at a controlled speed to ensure a low working pressure. Protech Balcony WV A solution based on special silane and siloxane resins in aqueous dispersion, being highly penetrating and transparent (colourless) for quickly, effectively and economically waterproof balconies, tiled terraces, concrete roofing, external stairs, and so on, without removing or impacting upon on the existing flooring. It does not change the appearance of the substrate on which it is applied nor alter its original degree of lubricity or breathability to water vapour. Application is swift, without requiring specialised labour or professional equipment. The treated flooring will be usable only 2 hours after application. Applying Protech Balcony WV is quick and easy – simply use a brush on clean and dry surfaces to resolve any seepage problems. The active substance penetrates quickly and deeply into the grouting, any cracks and porous points of the substrate. Upon contact with air, it causes a polymerisation reaction that perfectly and deeply seals and waterproofs every imperfection it encounters. The specific reactive polymerised siloxane molecule is stable over time and does not labilise. In accordance with the data sheet, the effectiveness of the product applied is normally more than 10 years on surfaces not subject to dynamic movements or structural and/or seismic damage. Should any new gaps or cracks appear after the first application of Protech Balcony WV, they can be easily resolved with a second application of the product. Given its intrinsically non-film nature, the product does not suffer damage, tear, crack, detach, deteriorate nor will it yellow over time due to the effects of UV rays (as naturally happens with epoxy and/or polyurethane treatments). The grouting treated with Protech Balcony WV is protected from mould, moss, lichen and other biodeterioration organisms. Rapid waterproofing of balconies, terraces, stairs, tiled surfaces, concrete and natural stone products, without having to demolish the existing flooring. It can also be used on vertical surfaces particularly exposed to weather and atmospheric conditions (tiles, plaster, exposed brick, etc.). The surfaces on which it is applied must be clean, free of stains, loose and crumbly parts, dust, and so on. If there are any joints between the tiles, they must be properly treated with a suitable acidic or alkaline detergent. To this end, we recommend the specific acid detergent Deterg-A, diluted with water at a ratio of 1:4. Rinse off the treated surfaces with running water. Any fragile and crumbly joints that have been removed, must be restored with cementitious putty offering high adhesion and deformability. To this end, we recommend using the specific waterproof and deformable two-component putty Stucco Balcony. Allow for the necessary time to pass (1–2 days) to allow the grouting to dry before applying Protech Balcony WV. The expansion joints that may be present, including those relative to the line connecting the tiled paving and the outer edge beam (normally made of granite or natural stone), will normally have to be sealed with high-elasticity polymeric materials. To this end, we recommend sealing with Protech Flex, supported by the installation of Filtene Fondogiunto and the particular polyurethane Protech Flex Primer. Pour small amounts of the product at a time then spread evenly across the entire surface with a rubberised brush or rubber blade until the substrate is complete impregnated with the waterproofing. Using a long bristle brush or sponge, apply Protech Balcony WV with particular care in the less accessible and most challenging areas (edges, skirting boards, corners, thresholds, hatches, fireplaces, drains, etc.). Allow the product to penetrate for at least 60 minutes. Remove excess product from all treated surfaces using a cloth wet with water. The average product consumption is around 0.15 kilograms/square metre of surface to be waterproofed, varying depending on the absorption of the substrate and the size of any joints. Normally, 1 kilogram of Protech Balcony WV is enough to treat surfaces from 5 to 10 square metres. Approximately 0.15 kilograms of Protech Balcony WV per square metre of surface to be treated – consumption may vary depending on the porosity of the substrate. Packaging: 2-liter can UM: €/l
