Latersana Additional compound based on ground "old" bricks and tiles, to be added to mixtures of hydraulic lime and aggregates, for producing mortars, plasters and subbase screeds, similar to the compounds of tradition "cocciopesto" (lime mortar with crushed pottery), in ecological building interventions and in the restoration of vintage buildings and monuments. The reactive capacity, which is beneficial, of the Latersana cocciopesto (lime mortar with crushed pottery) vis-à-vis the components of anhydrous mixtures based on natural hydraulic lime, botticino, and cocciopesto (lime mortar with crushed pottery), is facilitated by the fact that the composition of Latersana mainly consists of antique brick and tile granulates, produced with cooking oven temperatures that did not exceed 1000°C.
