LifeMat® wet laid glass nonwoven solutions help manufacturers improve the performance and lifespan of batteries. Pasting Mat is for use in flooded leadacid batteries for stopstart engines. Retainer Mat is for heavy duty and deep cycle batteries. DESIGNED FOR LEADACID BATTERIES (PASTING MAT) Excellent corrosion resistance with very low electrical resistance (<17mΩ/mm2). Minimal effect on cold cranking due to the low electrical resistance. EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE (PASTING MAT) Reenforces the positive active mass at the surface while preventing positive active mass shedding. Exceptional oxidation resistance provides additional protection throughout the lifetime of the battery. EASE OF USE (PASTING MAT) LifeMat® is pasted onto/into the positive active mass where upon drying/curing a very strong bond is formed eliminating the need for pasting paper. Easy to cut and compatible with continuous pasting processes. Easily applicable in continuous pasting process.
