Elastische Kugeln werden vorwiegend als Verschluss in Ventilen und Pumpen, in Rohrleitungen und Heizungssystemen, als Molche für die Rohrreinigung oder als Reinigungskugeln in Siebanlagen verwendet. Ventile gehören zu den bekanntesten Absperrorganen und verhindern ungewollten Rückfluss von Gasen, Flüssigkeiten oder körnigen Stoffen und Stäuben. Im Käfig der Kugelventile liegt die frei bewegliche elastische Kugel und wird durch das einströmende Medium aus dem Ventilsitz gehoben. Bei Rückfluss wird sie durch Kraft und Eigengewicht wieder in den harten Ventilsitz gepresst und dichtet dadurch ab. Der Ventilsitz sollte dem für die Ventilkugel verwendeten Werkstoff angepasst sein. Für viele spezifische Einsatzbedingungen stehen uns entsprechende Werkstoffe aus Elastomeren und Kunststoffen zur Verfügung. Neben den Standardabmessungen können wir Zwischengrößen mit umfangreichen Werkzeugpark abdecken.
