Vse se je začelo z majhno trgovino z elektronskimi komponentami za servis in drobno proizvodnjo, ki sta jo v Lodžu na Poljskem. Leta 1997 je bil zgrajen sedanji sedež družbe – moderen logistični center s skladiščem, ki je bilo od tistega časa že nekajkrat povečano. Sčasoma je TME uvedel prodajo tudi po internetu, visok standard poslovanja pa je potrdil certifikat ISO 9001: 2001. Trenutno je TME eden največjih globalnih distributerjev elektronskih in elektrotehničnih komponent, opreme za delavnice in industrijske avtomatike.
