Naše podjetje Emo Frite ima bogato zgodovino. V Celju so se frite pričele talite že skoraj pred enim stoletjem. Zametki proizvodnje frit in emajlov namreč segajo v Celju že v konec dvajsetih in začetek tridesetih let dvajsetega stoletja in so tesno povezani z razvojem tukajšnje, nekoč po vsem svetu znane tovarne emajlirane posode Westen, ki je bila ustanovljena leta 1894. V letih med 1928 in 1930 so začeli v tovarni sami taliti frite po nemških receptih. Prelomnico v zgodovini tovarne in začetek lastnega razvoja frit v Celju pa je pomenilo leto 1947. Takrat je skupina inženirjev, ki jih je vodil mednarodno priznani strokovnjak za emajle Hubert Ankerst, ustanovila razvojno-raziskovalni laboratorij, v katerem so razvijali temeljne in kislinsko odporne frite. Po letu 1954 so začeli proizvajati tudi titanske frite in od leta 1977 frite za keramične glazure. Od leta 1996 se lahko pohvalimo tudi s standardom ISO 9001. To potrjuje tudi certifikat, ki ga je izdala mednarodna ustanova BV – BUREAU VERITAS iz Londona. V letu 2005 smo v proizvodni program dodali tudi taljenje keramičnih frit za veziva v umetnih brusih. S popolnim asortimanom danes nastopamo kot močan ponudnik frit in emajlov na svetovnem trgu. Cilji prihodnjega razvoja Emo Frit temeljijo na tehnologiji, tradiciji, znanju, kreativnosti ter kvalitetnih proizvodih. Osnovni cilj prihodnjega razvoja je proizvodnja in prodaja kakovostnih frit, emajlov, glazur in keramičnih veziv za umetne bruse.

We also have the possibility to test plastic injection tools on a machine with 125 t closing force. When acquiring new projects, the company has a tendency, in addition to developing and manufacturing tools in its own tool shop, to establish the production of stamping or injection molding products and to supply them to the end customer in the long term. Nosilni proizvod so horizontalne tračne žage, ki so postavljene samostojno ali povezane s transporterji in krožnimi žagami v žagalno linijo, ki je kombinacija visoke tehnologije z minimalnim številom delovne sile in optimalno kapaciteto razreza. Veseli smo, da naši stroji zagotavljajo delo in zaslužek malim žagarjem, srednje velikimžagarskim obratom in so tudi del velikih žagarskih podjetij širom sveta. Pohvalimo se lahko, da so naši stroji razrezali ogromne količine raznovrstnega lesa, od našega domačega do trdega eksotičnega. Kar nas pa še posebej navdaja s ponosom pa je, da ko se kupci enkrat odločijo za naše stroje, to odločitev tudi ponovijo. Več kot 90% celotne proizvodnje je namenjeno za izvoz. Izvažamo na področje bivše Jugoslavije, EU, Ukrajine, Rusije in tudi na področje Afrike in Malezije. Na področju vzhodne Evrope in nekaterih državah EU imamo tudi svojo zastopniško mrežo, ki nudi našim kupcem tudi montažo in hiter servis v primeru kakršnih koli okvar in težav. Podjetje je leta 1997 pridobilo certifikat kakovosti ISO 9001.
