JE & GR d.o.o was established in 1993 and employs 60 permanent workers and has over 70 close subcontractors. Our primary activity is production of products for customer contracts in Slovenia and in EU countries, especially for the european defence industry. This represents more then 80% volume of the total production output. For the needs for production of weapons and army equipment, company has government consent for the production of military weapons and equipment. Company has manufactured more then 10.000 different products. We are producing items from a wide range of materials using different types of manufacturing. These are the products: -Metals (castings, welded, forgings, steel workpieces, non-ferrous metals, …) -Rubber (seals, shock absorbers, rubber products combined with steel parts) -Plastic (for different purposes and from different materials) -Goods (bags, pallets, packing boxes) -Various other articles of wood, cork, etc..

Laj’s legacy dates back to 2010 when it started manufacturing paper bags in its home garage. Back then they only had one paper bag printing machine. The company initially focused on production of paper bags in small amounts in order to appeal to small and medium-sized businesses in need of customised and affordable paper bags. After years of hard work, the firm has managed to gain traction on numerous foreign markets. As a result, it purchased new business premises in the heart of Maribor city which nowadays represent a core of its production process. These day we have a capacity to manufacture up to 25, 000 bags a day, mostly by using inputs with relatively low environmental impacts such as recycled paper. Our core markets include Germany, France, Belgium and Denmark but we also derive a substantial portion of our revenue from the local market. Ever since our inception ten years ago, we endeavour to make the world a better place through reducing our reliance on plastic bags and related products and consequently contributing to a cleaner and pollution-free environment.

The company FUKS toolbox, d.o.o. was founded on 31.03.2008, it has been development-oriented since the very beginning, and we mainly deal with the production of tools for the transformation and punching of sheets, tools for plastic injection and pressure casting. The company specializes in developing tools from idea to product, testing tools on its own hydraulic and eccentric presses from 16 t to 250 t of pressure force. We also have the possibility to test plastic injection tools on a machine with 125 t closing force. FUKS Orodjarna constantly updates the machine park, software and maintains the competence of the staff. The company operates according to the ISO 9001 system. When acquiring new projects, the company has a tendency, in addition to developing and manufacturing tools in its own tool shop, to establish the production of stamping or injection molding products and to supply them to the end customer in the long term. The company also operates on a demanding international market, where it exports more than half of its products or services. With the growth of the volume of business, the company increasingly defined its market niche, which it discovered in the planning and implementation of technologically demanding automation processes in industry.
