Les robinets règleurs RFF sont en acier avec tige inox étanchée par joints toriques suivant une technique spéciale qui procure une herméticité parfaite. Les joints toriques peuvent être changés sans arrêter l'installation grâce à la fermeture arrière du règleur. Le règlage se fait en réduisant la passage à l'aide d'un obturateur conique (carotte) et sur ces nouveaux modèles, la fermeture s'effectue PTFE sur acier. Afin de les différencier des robinets, les robinets règleurs sont peints en violet et ils comportent 2 stries usinées sur le guide. Les robinets règleurs sont normalement livrés avec la carotte correspondant à leur diamètre nominal, mais des carottes de passage supérieur peuvent s'adapter pour le même diamètre nominal. Ils peuvent être fournis passage équerre pour les DN 15, 25 et 40.
