Fokus Plamen d.o.o. is a wholesale and retail distribution company established in Slovenia in 2011. For several years, Fokus Plamen d.o.o. through exclusive contracts it distributes large brands, especially northern European ones such as Hofer Kerzen, Lumea, Burner International, Angelo Poretti and Vicenzi. The main markets are Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Austria. The company is developed on two different distribution lines: one for the Horeca market with direct sales to hotel chains, restaurants and wholesalers, and the other for a large distribution market that supplies chains such as Obi, Bauhaus and Metro. Focus has always specialized in finding high-quality products that are not yet present in their markets. The company's mission is therefore to really position various brands and create long-term demand for their products. Billev Pharma East was established in Ljubljana in 2007 by Mr. Peter de Mayo Billev. The company was at that time a sister company to Billev Pharma ApS, Denmark, with the same owner. Peter established Billev Pharma ApS as one of the first regulatory affairs consultancy companies in Europe in 1978. Mr. Billev has retired and the ownership of the company was transferred in 2022 to two employees of the company: Ms. Katja Pečjak (Associate Director) and Mr. Vito Strasberger (Managing Director). Since the very beginning, it has been our vision to be early in providing assistance with the growing amount of new legislation through active participation in the preparatory work for rules and regulations through international organisations. Through diligent consultancy work, Billev Pharma East has since its beginning in 2007 slowly grown to its present size also because of loyal customers. Laj’s legacy dates back to 2010 when it started manufacturing paper bags in its home garage. Back then they only had one paper bag printing machine. The company initially focused on production of paper bags in small amounts in order to appeal to small and medium-sized businesses in need of customised and affordable paper bags. After years of hard work, the firm has managed to gain traction on numerous foreign markets. As a result, it purchased new business premises in the heart of Maribor city which nowadays represent a core of its production process. These day we have a capacity to manufacture up to 25, 000 bags a day, mostly by using inputs with relatively low environmental impacts such as recycled paper. Our core markets include Germany, France, Belgium and Denmark but we also derive a substantial portion of our revenue from the local market. Ever since our inception ten years ago, we endeavour to make the world a better place through reducing our reliance on plastic bags and related products and consequently contributing to a cleaner and pollution-free environment.
