SPECIALIST IN INDIVIDUAL SOLUTIONS FOR LASER PRECISION FINISHING. LILA GmbH has been active as a specialist in laser precision finishing for more than 25 years. In addition to fine cutting and precision drilling, precision laser welding is a particular expertise. A wide range of metals and ceramic materials are processed on 25 fixed bed and fibre laser systems. Quality assurance at the highest level is obligatory at LILA, which is why all processes are certified both according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and according to the DIN EN ISO 13485 medical standard. Medical cannulas, measurement electrodes, surgical instruments, components for sensitive gauges or complex components for precision operations are standard metal workpieces that are manufactured at LILA. LILA is the market leader in the field of thick ceramics in particular, and can process material thicknesses of 0.1 mm–27 mm. We are a medium-sized company specialising in supplying thin metal foils with tight thickness tolerances. We cover the range from 0.005 mm to 1 mm thickness. We supply various dimensions from stock, which are optimally suited for use in the workshop and on assembly lines due to their packaging. The material can be easily removed in the required length from the generously dimensioned plastic box and, if necessary, the boxes with a material width of 150 mm, used up to a thickness of 0.25 mm, can be connected with clips. If required, you can simply order these free of charge. As a further option, we supply self adhesive metal foil. Here, the material is equipped with a linerless adhesive layer. The adhesive thickness is 0.04 mm.

The Official Name Of The Product Is Sharpening Stone but it is also known as water stone or a whetstone. It is a natural , non metallic mineral constituted of 96-99% Silicon Dioxide that it is found in micro-crystal form in the Mountains Of Elouda. It is only found there under layers of sediment material made from the ancient remains of marine life. Under parallel layers of the water stone that is usually completely white or light grey in colour, we excavate and then treat the known abrasive material, the whetstone. 100%NATURAL PRODUCT Non metallic mineral constituted of 96-99% Silicon Dioxide (SiO2). Layers range in thickness from 2 to 15 centimeters. Sharpening Stones Industry is a small family enterprise that began activity in Heraklion, Crete in 1898. The Founder Evangelos George Perakis had been born in the region where the stone is excavated (Elounta in Lasithi) that today constitutes part of the Municipality of Saint Nikolaos. He studied commerce in Constantinople and, having learned several foreign languages, he decided to open his first business in Heraklion.
